House Location Plans
A House Location Plan (HLP) is a survey document that depicts the location of a home's foundation in relation to the property's boundaries. The plan illustrates the building footprint, property lines, building setback lines, recorded easements, and other significant site improvements as required by the governing municipality or lending institution.
House Location Plans are commonly required to verify that the structure is being constructed in the approved location and complies with applicable zoning setbacks, easement restrictions, and development regulations prior to continuing construction or obtaining permits.
